A friend of mine gave me…yes we love her, GAVE me… Photoshop CS about eight months ago and I’m having the best time teaching myself the program. Unlike my other artistic endeavors my husband doesn’t have to worry about stepping over anything or loosing complete parts of the house for months on end.

DA is such a wonderful community for a new artist and the information available is outstanding. I’m sincerely grateful to the myriad of talented people here and their generosity to share what they know. My latest obsession being PS digital painting tutorials…I foresee myself researching tablets for the next few months.

I’m not sure if I feel comfortable calling myself an artist, as of yet, but I am having fun learning and this site has been a huge part of that. The stock artists here provide inspiration for trying new things and advancing my talents so I don’t see myself moving on to something else anytime soon. Hey, that alone is a big deal in my world…  

So a heartfelt thank you to the artists, stock providers, DA staff and supporters of my works for motivating me to spend countless hours playing on here with the rest of you.
